I love this season

I look forward  for this time of the year.  Let me have some pics on the blog first because I have loads to talk about and I may even forget about the pics:-p.

 In my early teens, one of my desperate wishes is to get a letter from Hogwarts. I even asked Santa for that. ha ha, Harry potter mania..Oh those days....!! Anyways reverting back, I do believe in Santa, fun way to say that the child in me is still alive :). I have a habit of going to church on Christmas eve, one of few habits I retained from schooling(I studied in a missionary school) Old habits die hard:-p.
                                                              One more day to go and we will be done with this year. I hope and pray I remember what life taught me all through the year, retain what I did good and  things I believed in and swear that I will continue to fight and try fulfilling my dreams. May god be with me and all. Godspeed people.

Back to blogging. What did I miss? Oh, ya many in fact. But first let me put some of my wonderful pictures that I captured a few days back.

Yes, my baby beach gets violent.
There is a cyclone threat in all coastal areas of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and the winds are strong too.

Breathtaking view and wind too. I captured these yesterday in my city.  I pray this cyclone won't create any havoc and my sincere prayers for the people in the low-lying areas.

On the lighter side, it's cloudy,  and I am at present typing these words with Illayaaja music playing at the background and some hot soup to sip in. Ha, what more can I ask?!

One simple Question

   
 I have been reading Randy Pausch  last lecture. Ever since I started reading  this  book,  one question is  being run in my mind.

                    What would I  want to do in life before I leave this world? what legacy am I capable of leaving behind?  Something constructive, creative and  a sort of  a give back to the society.

At  certain point of time when I meet god in heaven /hell if he asks me, " what did you do down there ?",     I want to answer that question  with  happiness, contentment, and pride.

Some may say  it's too early to think about all that. But dude  life is short and it's never too early or too late to think about  and figure it out. One life, one chance.

                     

A book challenge 2013

               There are many books in my 'to read' list that kept piling up, I do buy some but never read them. And so I challenged myself  of reading  20 books this year (pretty low I know but I am that kind of a reader) and yes I am on my way to it.

Trip to the heaven 2

I think my blog is becoming more like a photo blog. More pics and less write. Bad! I think I should come up with a good topic and write. OK., Now regarding the pics it's from my previous trip that I went to Tirupathi, Andhra Pradesh, India. Must add a word about the peacock, this beauty knows how to pose for a photo when someone is clicking :)  Beauty and intelligence is a dangerous combination  ;)

Finally, I am blogging. After a long absence of what I call "Writer's block". hahaha,  I couldn't find a reason for my absence. I was just too self-absorbed to write I guess. It's more like I am saying it to myself.

its rain time :)

Almost one month has gone since I blogged. I know if I start I simple rant about everything that comes  into my mind and I make a long post difficult to read for many of them.
                    And sometimes my friends make fun of me for my long passages that I write and speak. And I clearly tell those morons I speak and write mostly for my sake and clearly no urge to change my style of writing for anybody. A plain speech is what I yearn for ya!
                               Meanwhile i am right now enjoying this beautiful weather in my city after a series of  changes that have had happened in my life for past few days clearly the only  reason for my absence  from blogging that pushed me out of my comfort zone(ok I will blog about this later), and I am glad that monsoons are back after a harsh summer, in fact, the worst one I have seen!

I badly miss cloudy days and rains. Now summer is on, it's hot and I am drenched in sweat. Counting days, I hope this summer isn't going to be that bad.  Yes, an  optimistic look into the future ;-)

Journey to the green

My recent trip to Kona seema, Andhra Pradesh. I am truly in love with the greenery there, spellbound I could only manage a few pics due to my short stay there but worth it!!! ya 

 Just a few weeks more to end my college , i just realized life is all about letting go off things as you travel with time and I am in my last leg of my college life and I am currently filled with nostalgia. Rewinding all those good and bad moments too, along with my adventures truly remarkable, because sometimes they kept me on my toes and sometimes they are silly too. I just started thinking why I have been  so emotional about it  because I hadn't felt the same when I left my school , i studied for 12 years and yes definitely not in plus 2 , as I was glad that I was out, in fact I was counting days at the end.Well, that is another issue, coming back I realized maybe my uncertain future or my days as a student is nearing its expiry date are some of the reasons I could think of now.
                                         And I am closing this post with no amount of  wishes or hope or ' looking forward to future' kind of stuff  in this, as I am strongly opposed to the stereotype stuff and wish to change it, it's really getting old  period!

Had a very fun day today.Really enjoyed ourselves. Went to a small picnic today with my 'band 'of friends  and, believe me, we had super fun. The place is called Thatipudi reservoir,  Waters and boating  are something I reckon for years ah!!

         Was very tired at the end of the day and yes it was a really sunny day, I ended up with a tanned skin :(

But nevertheless  we had a great day and do sneak some time off to visit this place if you are staying in Vizag.

This week  seems to be a movie week for me. Yes I bought some really good movie DVDs that were on my list.  The first priority goes to Kannathil muthamittal  a Tamil movie, directed  by Mani Ratnam, music by the one and only A.R. Rahman. I really love this movie and thought of buying the original Tamil DVD ( I actually saw this movie in Telugu).
              And the next list of movies are The Artist, shame I didn't see till now, better late than never right, so I bought that too and there are others on the list, to watch.  So this weekend seems to be interesting :).

One fine morning, a walk to the beach with your best buddy  is a great way to start a day.With my new Adidas shoes on, the walk was fun, smoother and  yes exciting  too.Somehow when I am at my low point the sea soothes me and brings me back. Life is all about the things you love to do. So now my cells are all energized. It's a blessing to be in a city with a beach. Have a great day!  :)

A kind act

Simply no urge to write, reason for my long absence, but today I was so moved by an incident, one person in particular whom I don't know, but I was moved by her kind act.Yes, while I was coming back home one day  I lost one of my sandals and I couldn't walk the lane.  It's about   five to ten minutes walk to my house from the junction where I was standing helplessly not knowing what to do. Then came this lady about  30 years odd who noticed me, and offered me lift to my house.She was actually  coming out   from the same lane, but she stopped asked me where I had to go and came back all the way back to drop me.These  kind gestures  make your day. It surely gives us hope that there is still people who care about others. God bless the kind heart!

Fun time

Happy Pongal everyone. It's indeed a festival time, time for a new season, time for prosperity and yes time for celebrations. Have a safe and cheerful one this time. I could see the festival furor around and it's time for shopaholics to celebrate!  Lots of yummy, delicious  food to eat : D. Will be right back soon.

Tribute to Mozart

 There are very few composers, who can make you cry, feel happy, joy and longing for more. In fact, there are only  a few, whose songs can bring goose bumps to you, who can take you  to the mood of the song without any effort. Today through this post I wish to pay a small tribute to the one and only A.R.RAHMAN sir

                                                           Blessed is my generation to be able to listen to his compositions. One of the best moments of my life  were associated with his songs, also at times of  despair I have had his songs  at the helm. There are many instances as above. I wish I could be more eloquent, words may fail me, but the feelings of thankfulness and praise  stay as such. sigh! Belated happy birthday sir. I pray god gives you health, wealth, and joy.  And many more to come! God Bless.!
